is the Fender Supersonic actually a really nice amp?

I mean.. I was playing it in the store, at a reasonable volume (volume at 4 for a few minutes) and it sounded great.. the clean channel was warm, the 'Burn' Channel had good, clear gain on any setting. It made the SG and Strat I was trying it with sound amazing.

So.. how come I've heard nothing about the amp? I cant even find anything with the search function here...

Anyone have thoughts?

The one I played through left me pretty cold... The clean channel was serviceable but the OD did absolutely nothing for me. I didn't spend a whole lot of time with it, though. I'll reserve final judgement until I do.

If you want a "jack-of-all-trade" amp, i think this is one of the best amp out there !!!

Now i am not blowing this amp off as just an " OK " amp, no sir !!!

I LOVE THIS AMP !

Even on B&W this amp sounds like something i will LOVE !

I like the clean channels (trebble'y in the one, and mega warm in the other), and the gain side of things sound real good too.
It is just a pitty that Fender did not do any MAX GAIB Fiffings - all of them are lead parts and i am a rhythm player, i haedly ever do solo pieces !!!

If this amp head got reduced by $200.00 odd $$$'s, i'll be seriously thinking of getting one !!!
