Amp HUM!!!!

The other day, while I was playing my amp, the plug got hit out of the outlet. When I went to put it back in and played the amp, there was annoying humming noise. While its turning off, I hear a sort of ticking noise. Any reason why its doing this? Thanks!

Do you mean that the plug was ripped from the wall? If you're getting some hum from that it could be that the ground plug has come loose and isn't making a proper connection (those things are pretty easy to pull out if you're not careful) . . . you might want to look into that . . .

Bumping the plug probably could have caused some damage to it. Get it looked at by a tech.
