amp is broken, what should i do?

ok, so i go to my amp to play for a little bit before i go to bed and i come to find out that it's not working. i plug my les paul and no sound at all. so i switch cords to sede if it's teh cord and then i get this really loud buzzing sound form it. so i go to the back of the amp and mess with the speaker cable(this has happened before and it was that, i dont know but messing with ti worked) and it keeps going.
so i turn off the amp and tuen it back on to see if that does anything at all, and then no sound at all. the amp physically turns on but no sound at all, even no buzz when i touch the tip of my cord.

does anyone have any clue as to what can be wrong with it? it's a marshall avt150 combo and my only amp. and even worse, i have band practice on saturday and no ****ing amp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's on warranty but obviously i dont have that kind of time to get ti fixed before saturday so im just really mad about it.

me and my mom are going out to look at some stuff at pawn shops and hopefully find something i can sue while it's gone with my distortion pedal or something.

also, is there any good little amp that i can use while it's gone? i was thinking of just going and getting a fender frontman and using a pedal in front.

Sounds like the output stage has faulted, I say that because you had buzzing before, and now nothing ... the only thing you can do is (since it's under warranty) is to call around and find your local authorized marshall tech ... see if he or she can take a quick peek inside for a bench fee, if it's something like a bad cap and loose connection you'll be on your way quickly and cheaply.
Or you could ask Korg for permission to open it up just to take a look yourself to see if it's something simple like a loose connection. If the AVT has a tube pre (I forget what that has) then try changing out the tube, as it's possible that something has grounded and the preamp is literally shut off, sending the power section no signal. Make sure that the speaker is getting no signal, no hiss at all, if it is then the problem could be before the power section ... also if it has a headphone jack and that still works then the problem may be with the speaker connection/jack (although, I wouldn't understand the buzzing).

but it really looks like i'll need to do something quickly.
obviously i'd like to have it fixed but i doubt it'd be done by saturday, so is there anything you guys could recommend?

im hoping maybe i can find a little peavey or crate amp. i can actually borrow a crate amp somewhere.. maybe i should do that?

If it was me, Id open it up and check the fuse, some have a fuse on the board for the output. If you had speaker issues before like you said, you may have shorted something, maybe your speaker wiring is jacked and causing the fuse to pop, I mean if it is a fuse it may do it again. But thats just me

One thing you might try, is if you bought it from a local shop then you might call them and see if you could get one as a loan while your's is being fixed, in some cases they might swap the amp out for another one (same amp that is).
You'd have to speak with a manager on that of course. Just be polite, and nice and ask if there is anything they can do to help you out.

it's still in warranty and thats what my dad wants to do and he bought the damn thing, so looks like thats what im gonna do.

i think i may start saving up for tha amp really, really want. the mesa mark 4
