Amp Sims - Legion - Moar Organic Crunch test w/JB8

ive been working with these amp sims and trying really hard to get the crunch detail as good as a real tube amp. its really hard to get the saturation of these things perfect so they dont either sound hard, thin or static.
this is my best efforts and to tell you the truth its quite amazing what some processing can do for these things. without the processing they sound flat out dead to me.

BTW, I like this tone better than the Amp plug Metal tone. Having owned numerous Vox modeling amps and the Tonelab ST the digital Vox pieces don't have much depth to the tone imo - the tube ones do a better job.

i like whatever gear i can mess around with regardless of its sound outcome. that vox was a surprise one of my fav clips.
but your entirely right. this clip is bigger.
i also think the Vox treble is limited on the unit. i twas hard to get the right spot without it getting thin overall.

Either is passable. I always remember that Evanescence sold over 10 million albums and the guitar tone was from a Line6 head, digital.
