Re: Amp Tech in LA - Orange County?

I took my Marshall to the Fret House in Covina, Ca. It had a "mysterious" problem that was fixed in about 5 days. I'm pretty happy with the turnaround time, other shops said it would be at least 5 weeks before I got it back... But, I got it back in about 5 days and she sounds great!

...sorry don't have the number on me, call info for the number...

...and while you're there, check out the Mesa amp room... the broken windows are my fault...

I use Steve Dikun, the "Rock and Roll Doctor" in Glendale--great service and fair prices. He's easy to like and good at explaining about amplifiers in a way that most folks can understand--he doesn't flaunt his expertise or his pedigree. Here's a link: http://www.rockandrolldoctor.com

You can try Gard's Music in Glendora, CA. They're the ones who said it'd take at least 5 weeks to get it back due to the quantity of jobs they already have...
