I had to buy 2 amps and an A/B/Y pedal to do that. It's hard to get all that in 1 amp, that's affordable.

Marshall dsl will fit the bill for sure. Not expensive, plentiful and great crunch. You wont need that metal pedal anymore...however using an sd1 into a crunchy marshall sounds superb!
