Hi guys!
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not an over wound C-5 would balance with a 59 neck or even a Gibson Birstbucker Pro? I know the C-5 is about 14k+ and the 59 is 8.5k? anyway, I hear it is best to have two pickups very close in resistance for the right balance and that is why guys like Wagner has his pickups so close.....for example 8.6k bridge and 8.4k neck. Anyway, I am also assuming non of you have had issues with the C-5/59 so I am hoping an over wound C-5 (by 10% for more mids) wouldn't be much of an issue. I am hoping to keep my Burstbucker Pro neck in place as well.
Thanks all!
