someone was like make a heavy riff
so i made a heavy riff
but this time i worked with the sounds a little, the only thing is the bass sucks cuz the strings were literally flopping around (cuz i did octave bass), im seriously going to put a .165 on the low string haha and redo the bass.

A question I had for you, are your riffs mainly single note lines? Few chords?

nah, i never stick to one or the other, its just that when you go lower and especialy with distortion, chords start to lose definition. On the 6 and 7 string stuff i use a lot more chords, and sometimes it jsut depends on the song or the feel i am going for!

Huge Meshuggah influence, but I think I like your stuff more. It's somehow less abrasive and more musical. The tone you've got in that clip is perfectly suited to that tuning and style of music. It's almost clean-sounding - you can really hear those low, heavy strings just grinding away. Great stuff, man.

Sounds really cool. Almost like a bass but without loosing all it's definition under distortion. I always enjoy listening to your clips. Keep 'em coming.

I only wish I could get my 6 string's bass strings to sound that defined.

What kind of 8 string is that?
