Another help me decide thread

Hi all - recently I purchased a PRS S2 standard in blue sparkle that I just love... great guitar! At that time I was looking at possible options and you all gave some nice responses. Well, I'm at it again... I'm in a position to reward myself for some work and I want to pick up some gear. I have about $1200 in cash available, but could probably go to $2000 if using the free money being offered by the the retail establishments (for new gear). I usually buy used but 36 months no interest? Wow.

With that said... looking to pick up 1 or 2 guitars or 1 nicer guitar or 1 guitar and a combo amp... I don't have any NEEDS, this is purely because I want to...

Current setup:
Blackstar hybrid head and cab
Fender Mustang 3 digital amp
Iron Maiden Laney Amp

PRS s2 standard
Fender USA stratocaster
Ibanez RGA42FM
Kramer Baretta

I have a few other less expensive guitars too, but we won't count those.

I just need ideas on what to check out. There have been so many awesome new guitars and styles recently I'm overwhelmed... plus the level of quaity from far east manufacturing is off the charts right now. Some things I was considering

Used:
- Hamer Special DC P-90s
-Gibson SG standard (non batwing)
-Gibson SG special P-90s
-Gibson Les Paul Studio
-Fender Telecaster USA Deluxe (bound top, single coils)
-Maybe a Tele standard or something - not huge on Teles)
-PRS CE (but that will be similar to my S2)
-PRS SE One or singlecut like Zach Myers
-Ibanez Prestige or Premium?

Amps - I don't have a tube combo... was thinking something standard like a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe? What about Rivera? How about an old Carvin? Crate?

New:
-Gibson SG
-Gibson Les Paul Classic
-PRS CE
???

What else is NEW that is turning heads? I am in the classic rock/hard rock space so I don't need a shredder and I would like to stay away from floyd's as I hate them.

Thoughts? suggestions?

After a bunch of time avoiding work... I'm starting to look at the following:

- Epi SG Special (faded green with P-90s) (I know!)
- Eastman T386 or T484
- Guild Starfire IV
- Gibson Les Paul Studio (GC special Lemonburst)

So... I guess I narrowed it down a bit... vintage style! Thoughts? Likely would get the Epi plus one of the others ... off chance I would do the LP plus a semi-hollow... but that is stretching it a bit.

SGs with P90s are pretty rad. However I stand by my mantra: Choose Your Gear With Hands And Ears, Not With Eyes Or Screens (Or Wallets)

I also lean hard on Add One Thing At A Time. Gear to me is a family, and buying several things at a time feels hasty. Just my philosophy though.

If you can find an old Carvin X amp combo, get it.
As for guitars, have you considered an Explorer?

The green P90 SGs do look very cool. A Les Paul Studio would be a solid workhorse.

Explorer is not in the cards right now. I’d love to get my hands on a sammy hagar explorer or one of those old explorer pros
