I was in Sam ash again with the intent on finding a set of knobs maybe... Maybe a sticker
found this esp on the wall used.... Very abused! It was 330 bucks though!

I talked the guy down to 300.

It's not very worn at all! But someone beat it like a rented mule!

Finish crack, it's been dropped and there are gouges and dents and cracks all over it.

Brought it home, the wiring was absolutely monkey horsecrap wires loose, wires going back and forth... The pickup was busted would only work if you pushed it sideways.... Had a fender in the neck and an sh1 neck in the bridge!

Pulled everything out but the neck pup because who cares about neck pups?! Well maybe some of you guys but not this guy.

Put brand new pots in it, and a Gibson 498t in the bridge, wired it all up correctly.
Cleaned it, found screws to replace all those missing, lem-oiled the board, and stuck some heavy bottom skinny top Ernie balls on it.

Always wanted one of these things. Sounds pretty killer for 3 bills if I say so myself!

Sweet!

That thing should have Duncans ????? Or too low end? Or EMG's ????

Did you fill that surface scratch with something?
Did you fix the back?

Looks like it fell down a set of stairs!

Holy mother of toilet seat, Batman! That's a good score. Cosmetic damage, who cares if everything else is solid.

Is that one of those Earvana compensated nuts on it?

JJ's Harmony looks like Howl's moving castle.

Those ec1000fr with emgs are an ultimate snag on craigslist. Not seeing near as many on there these days.

It had actives when it was born, this guitar had a rent me for $33 a day tag in it as well. My guess is people rented it and robbed all the stuff out of it over the years. It literally had a neck pickup in the bridge ha ha ha! That cracked me up!

I may actually be selling/trading it to my other guitarist today.
(It's kind of why I bought it anyhow) he's been wanting an LP badly and since I just bought one (last weekend) he has bad gassssss and no funds to cure it. This may be his ticket to an LP (sort of)

If I were to keep her and call her my own, she'd have a Black Winter in the bridge. Because it's the best dang passive pickup ever conceived for metal !!! I've got Blackouts in both my explorers already. They are my main axes.

Teh BrOOtZ are still alive and well here.

Just because it's ugly doesn't mean there isn't music in it.
Anyone remember JJ Cale's Harmony?

Holy crap I am working on a guitar for guy that is in total tribute to JJ's guitar. I reminded hiim JJ did it himself so as not torture the guitar tech lol
