So back in early June I did some pickup work for a client and put a new pickup in his Arbor AS350. He already had Grovers installed. Made $20.
Fast foreward a few weeks and he realizes he just hates this Arbor because he can't make it sound how he wants it. When I played it before, I liked the feeling and how it played. He tells me about how he no longer wants it. We start working on a deal and I offered to make him some of my cables in exchange for the Arbor. So after a few weeks of hassle because I got a bad batch of cable and it had to be replaced, I finally finished assembling the cables last night.
About an hour ago my client got here and we traded. He even threw in a gigbag for the Arbor (not even a bad one!).
The jack needs some work but otherwise it's pretty good.
Any guesses on what the bridge pickup is?
Hint, it sounds great for all sorts of metal.
