OK - my SERIOUSLY thinned heard:
2 Les Pauls
1 Strat
ES 339
6 String Acoustic
I have six guitars right now:
1 2004 les paul standard
2 1990 les paul standard
3 2008 Vgs eruption pro with active pickups
4 evh wolfgang special
5 ibanez az224f
6 prs se custom 24 with roasted maple neck and fretboard
And a ibanez bass on its way to home. Taking aside the space a need to store them, I need to admit I struggle to manage them. Sometimes I don't play some of them for days. So what is the advantage to have many of them if you don't have time for them. But I guess the question isn't how many I have, but how long I can't buy a new one.
Don't have time for them? BS. There are 7 days a week, you have 6 guitars.
The advantage? Six different tones because different guitars and different pickups, and you can go a looooong time without having to change strings. Grab the next guitar.
This week already I have played 5 different guitars!
Wow, you sold Jenna. Let me guess, not the wife's favorite? LOL
Fretless bass
A cheap one to use as a beater
One that looks refined
A Fender offset
A Japenese one
Something with active electronics.
Haha, don't forget the one that's in the basement covered in cobweb.. we all have those... Right..?
My Minimum....looks to be 14
