More pics of a couple interesting differences.
Alongside my MIM Deluxe;
Notice the deeper contour cut on the black FSR:
The FSR body is thinner on the top of the contour. Normal thickness everywhere else.(My HWY1 thinner in the same spot as well):
The FSM neck on the left, notice the thinner neck profile compared to the regular modern C of the MIM Deluxe:

Excuse me if you've already said but what year is it? Judging from the headstock I'd say late 90's, just a guess though, which would account for the extra small block. Honestly I prefer the smaller STEEL blocks over the big blocks Fender is currently dropping in MIM's, the zinc ones on the other hand are awful!!! Try touching the block with a magnet, it's an easy way to find out what it made of...
