my friend built this a few years ago and did a terrible job, and he knows it. haha
the good:
-dimarzio area T pickups
-warmoth neck
the bad:
-the ash body is heavy and sounds like a dud.
-the pickguard was incorrectly mounted, overlapping the bridge and control plates.
-the neck and body were spaced by quarters, washers, and a wood shim.
-one of the tuners doesnt match.
-the bigsby was mounted crookedly.
-the bridge itself is a horrendous piece of crap with spring loaded saddles that slip and move when you tune it or use the bigsby...
-he grounded it to the wood instead of the bridge.
-skull and crossbones for strap buttons.
plans:
shaving the body to install a quilt top
chambering the body
installing a traditional ash tray bridge without the bigsby.
chrome tuners
