Antiquity for Precision bass

[SVT Precision]

anyone with expeience with them? im looking for a match to a balsy vintage p-bass tone.
are they worth it for THE SOUND? i could care less about the era correct cloth style push back wire, or the rusty polepieces..

the only one ive heard is in my friends 70's p bass and it gets a killer thumpy warm tone with good definition

I have the Vintage (non antiquity) P-Bass, and it sounds pretty much as you describe. The Antiquity could be that much better, though.
