Maybe this is Evan's way of hinting at a new pickup:

The coils and polepieces of the Distortion Trembucker, (21.3k), the preamp of the LiveWire Metal,
bobbins made out of flint.

They'll call it the Warhead! :laugh2:

Seymour is a man of many talents. The thing with Indiana University is totally true.

Go to Seymour's Q&A and search (control-F) for "Nick Toth" from Indiana.

Now, Google "Nick Toth" and "Indiana University".

Coincidence? I think not, my friends.

Now, if you think this weird... imagine this little snippet of conversation that took place a few years ago:

Donnie Wade, former VP of Jackson Guitars, now running Guild and Tacoma for FMIC: "Hey Evan, I just saw Seymour on the cover of this month's issue of Engraver magazine. What's he doing on Engraver?"

Evan: "They did a feature on him because he collects old Pantograph machines and is using them in pickup engraving. But Donnie, the bigger question is: what are you doing reading Engraver magazine?"

Strange. But true.

haha ..
when Scott, Stevo and I were at the factory, there were jars of funny stuff around the Custom Shop, just like something you'd see in a science lab - like a jar with a pickup soaked in water, totally rusted, but supposedly functional

you'd almost expect to see those jars with lightning coming out, like in Frankenstein :D
