TONE - just go get a Shiva already - trust me it's a good amp whether or not it ends up being your perfect choice.

That's what it comes down to. The funny thing is that every amp that people claim is "as good" or "better" than it I just don't like as much: that's the Bad Cat Hot Cat, VHT Pitbull/Deliverance, Rivera Knucklehead, Fender Supersonic, Orange Rockerverb 50. I try to find an amp that I like as much as the Shiva for cheaper, but it just hasn't happened yet. The Shiva just has such a thick, smooth and punchy character that's so unique, I haven't found anything that sounds like it at any price range.

Rockerverb 50? I just don't ever seem to dig 6V6 amps - and I mean in BLIND tests. Therefore, I do't see the comparison.

The Knucklehead is the refined version of the 70s/80s Fender lovers take on the Shiva. It's like a Marshall/Fender sound thru Fender lovers' eyes.

The Shiva is the Marshall/Fender thru a Marshall lovers eyes.

Bad Cat's are cool, of course!

The thing that sets the Shiva apart is that it sounds pretty legit in almost any mix and any music and it really works with classic 70s/early80s Rock sounds.

Hard to find

Bogner has slowed shipping as they put out the NEW model out
they are also probably busy with the Duende launch
