i had no idea what that meant either. i thought you actually meant the center block out of 335 or something which seemed very odd

There was a guy on Squeebay a few years ago selling mahogany center blocks for 335 style guitars. I bought a couple to use in case a client wanted a semi-hollow built to spec. Heck - he might still be on there, as he had quite a number of them.
