GREAT KRAMER STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a Kramer not to long ago, it was one of those 1984 reissues. Cant say i was impressed, the pickup was horrible and it had the worst wiring job ive ever seen.... I'll just tell you that i tore out the pot (literally), violently dismembered the pickup and threw it away with the exception of the magnet, sold the neck(The neck felt pretty nice at least!), installed the Floyd Rose on a friends guitar, shredded off the paint with a screwdriver and hamer only to see hot crappy the wood actually looked (horrible, cheap and inconsistent) and then torched it with gasoline and watched it burn untill put out the flames with my own piss......:arms:......ahhh........ Im sure most of you dont believe me, but i sware to you it the honest to God truth! NO BULL! I made a chunk of the 600$ I bought it for by selling the neck and floyd, used pieces of it on what would become my project Warmoth Strat! But best of all, the torched body it hanging up on the wall in my room.... NOW THATS ROCK AND ROLL!!!
After that other than deciding never to buy a Kramer again, i decided to work, work, and work, so i could get a quality guitar finally (my Warmoth), it aint pretty but it sounds great...

Yep, a Striker and two Focuses. None of them are assembled at this time, project guitars. All three have the single hum p/u. 22 fret rosewood hockeystick headstock, etc.

Yeah thanks man it is like having an old friend back.....and the thing is actually quite fatsounding.... :burnout:
Even more so after I blocked the backwards motion.
I'll dress the frets later on, I just have to collect some old tools at a friend and this baby will get a needed overhaul.
The most fun thing is still the hybrid Demon/JB I call it Screamin' J :laugh2:
