Just bought a set of these - " should be here today " to drop in my old alder DiMarzio Strat body, with original DiMarz maple " louisville slugger " neck. Anyone try these pickups ? Comments good or bad ? Thanks bros.

They didn't " make " them per-se. The old San Dimas Charvel boys did, and DiMarzio had their name literally branded into the bodies and necks. They had heavy ash, or extremely light alder to choose from. The maple necks are V profiled and FAT, and the rosewood necks were medium C shaped with real brazilian rosewood, and stainless steel side markers that actually shine in low light conditions - pretty cool. I've got both, and they both KILL. I'll email you a couple of pics, and maybe you could share 'em with the rest of the group -
