That Page Hamilton is the one I'd go with. It's a sweet looking axe and you can probably pickup a decent used one for less than $500. I would have been using his sigs if I knew they came in other colors besides "Hey! Look at me fellas. I'm gay." pink.

Ibanez RG's had some that were this way. I had an RG565 that was this config.

You can probably get Carvin to build one of their custom DC guitars with an H/S pickup configuration and a hardtail or wilkinson trem. If you keep the specs simple you can get it close to $900.

It's candy magenta! Hehe,,, I really wanted one of those back when ESP reissued them. It looked badass! Couldn't afford it though.

Great suggestions guys! Keep'em coming. The carvin sounds like a great option. What about in the used market? Or anything in 24.5 scale?
