Re: Any idea what brand/model guitar this is?
Thanks, man. It’s funny, i knew if i ended up leaving with anything it would have to be relatively cheap (350 was my limit). I tried a couple $300-350 ones and i really liked this one more than anything else i tried. As you can tell by the topic of this thread, i was totally unfamiliar with OLP and couldn’t even tell what it was from the logo.
The guitar market can be a strange thing. Price doesn’t necessarily say much about the products, i’ve learned. So many people have dif needs, and quality control over some of the most recognized brands are known for being relatively inconsistent in recent years.
Over time i’ve learned quite a bit. This guitar has been one of the most valuable and most positive learning experiences i’ve had in a long time.
Dumping money into a budget guitar may not always be a great investment financially, but in terms of “bang for your buck” i am completely stunned by the end result here. I was afraid i was potentially trying to polish a turd. Now i know that definitely is not the case. It’s a great axe.
