Any Idlewild fans in?

Yeah, pretty much all in the title. I've been trying to nail some of the guitar tones on the new 'Warnings/Promises' album. I'm nowhere close and was wondering if anybody could help if they were familiar with the band. Or if anyone knows of some websites that list different guitarists's setups.

Can't help you with about the band, But I've been to Idlewylde State Park in Southern CA. It's was hella cool. It's in the mountains and they have big pine trees with pine cones that are like 18" tall.

I liked a couple of the earlier albums (100 Broken Windows/Hope Is Important), but they seem to have gone away from that style a little, I haven't really heard the newer stuff, sorry.

ok, i havnt heard the material, but i remember drooling over their gear in a guitar mag

one has a strat with 3x vintage rails into a JCM900

the other has a stock gibson SG going into a mesa dual rec.. does this help?

honest im a massiv fan - at first i was sceptical about there new album , but it seriously rocks!

Ill ask my best mate - he knows nothing bout guitar but everyhting bout idlewild!

Liked some stuff form a couple of years back - I saw them at T in the Park, 2001 - but I've kinda lost touch. I should really start listening to them again...
