any interest in an American Standard Strat?

So I was thinking of buying a G&L strat, and I was curious if anybody would be interested in buying an American Standard Fender to help finance it? :fingersx:

My strat has a maple neck, and the body is a teal color (I think the official color was Aquamarine Metallic but I'm not sure). Right now it's got a JBjr in the bridge with G&L neck and middle p'ups, but I can put the stock Fenders back in (it came with a standard neck, a reverse wound middle, and a hot delta bridge). It's not in mind condition, there are a few minor scratches and a nick in the pickguard, but itplays pretty well. The case is a little older than the guitar, it had the latches and hinges replaced but it works great.

Just curious if there'd be any interest - I was hoping to get around $599 for it. Let me know - thanks!

(when I get home tonight I can post pics if you want)

Well, at least I know it won't move quickly (no interest on Craigslist, either :smack: )

What do you guys think is a fair price to ask for one of these (with the fender pickups back in it)? Thanks...

If you are serious about selling the guitar I highly suggest posting an asking price and pictures. This will generate much more interest.

I thought I did post an asking price, but let's say $575, and here are some crappy pics from my wife's video camera - my camera died tonight 'cause I forgot to charge it, but if anyone wants I can post better pictures tomorrow once it's charged up.

The guitar is in great shape - it's actually a little greener in real life than it is in the pictures. In the pics, the pickups are 2 G&Ls and a JBjr, w/ the tone knob for the middle pickup a push/pull pot to split the JB, but I had planned on putting the stock pickups back in it. There are a few minor things, like a bump on the end of the headstock, and a small nick in the pickguard...they were both there when I got the guitar, and I tried to get pics of them too. It needs an adjustment screw for the low E saddle, and a pickguard screw (a lot of you cats on here probably have that stuff just lying around, if not a decent repair tech would probably give you one of each) Other than that, it's been great for me. I think it's a pretty sweet guitar. I wouldn't sell it if I didn't want the G&L. :) Thoughts?
