I have on SX Callisto JUnior. Trust me, unless you like high action, plan on a good set up ( Fret level/Crown/Polish).
Beyond that , some fairly impressive guitars for the coin. I have the Callisto JR. P-90, and it was decnt enuf to show me I really want the Gibson 2xP-90.
That said, one is plenty- I was going to get that cool looking Teal 2xP90 Strat, but they just arent ever going to play up to my skill level, to my and soon as I get the Gibson one I'll give this SX to Goodwill.

I'm thinking of getting a sx callisto Jr p90, or a sx strat with p90s. Was the callisto Jr really that bad? I used to have a sx Tele it was a nice sounding guitar after the mods were done but I sold it.

NO! NOT that bad..just my experience..OTOH..not that good.
I had to maul my frets to get them level, and even after that they play so-so..but then, I'm looking for pro action, which is unreasonable to expect in a guitar at this pricepoint.

In comparison P-90's are quite unsophisticated, and a lot of cheap P90's can get that P-90 pretty raw sound.Thats not bad-lots of guys like me love that raw sound ( even though the Humbucker is SO much more sophisticated)
Always upgrade cheap P-90's to Seymour Duncans!! You'll get tons of extra usable tone from that Single Coil!

Cool man, yea I want one pretty bad! I've never had a guitar with p90s yet I've just playd one and liked them alot.

I thought the neck on the sx Tele was a little on the thick side for me.

I have an SX Tele and it's build quality is awesome.
I love mine. Awesome neck.

I'm sure ill get another one some day. I loved the tone they sound great! I had a mini rail humbucker in it some FAT tone...

They have a $99 strat that I'm GASsing heavy for. Vintage white with aged maple neck.

I have an SX Hawk that was great right out of the box. I changed the magnets to A5, and put a Gibson P90 in the bridge and this guitar sounds amazing.
