Any love for the TC Spark booster

This thing has a certain something that keeps it in constant rotation on and off the board.
Sick of the cheapo Klon clones uppermids so the TC is back

The full size one is great. Had one on my board until I stupidly fried it. Replaced it with an Xotic RC booster which isn't as versatile, but it gets the job done.

i havent tried one. whats it like?

Fundamentally it's a clean boost, but it's very tweakable. Apart from the two-tiered tone control it has three different modes that alter the EQ and adds a bit more thickness or mid hump. It also has enough gain on tap to give you a bit of extra dirt if you need it. If you're playing a high gain amp it works REALLY well in the FX loop as a solo boost.

Yea pretty much what he said.
I first tried one at a freinds years ago. He had a baby Orange amp( micro terror maybe) with one and I really liked it.
A year ago I traded the husk of a USA washburn i stripped for the pickups and schaller tuners and electronics, to a freind for this pedal.( he needed a project and i wanted the floyd rose outta my sight)
For me...in mid boost mode the mids are just right and its not fizzy like allot of dirt boxes ive had.

Cool does the SD have a good amount of boost gain?
Here is how I run my Spark.
With gain all the way off it really dont do a ton.

Honestly, I don't know that there is a clean boost I hate

Love my 70's Micro Amp, colors a little in a really nice way
Really dig my Nose Pedals Mean Green Clean - but rare/boo-teeky
Mooer Pure Boost is RC clone and great
Katana is nice in any format
So is TC
Of course, Xotic EP Boost too
Currently using an EQ in my Pod for solo boosts

Honestly, I haven't found one that won't do the job...
