And same here as well, which is also why I had the last of my three custom-made
(Although I like that shade that's between blue and purple, Midnight Blue if you will)
I´m actually exactly the same way, but quality blue guitars just don`t seem to cross my path as often as I`d like..... Guess I´ll have to build one myself. Again.

Difficult to capture the color, it's deeper than this in real life - almost black. My first trans-finish guitar, a particularly good one too

Here's one of my main players, an Am. Std. strat built with a rare blue pearl dust body from a 90's Strat Plus.
It's got Chubtone 63's that were wound to my specs.....slightly hotter bridge. It's a hard color to photograph.
The plastic is aged white on a black guard.
2000 PRS McCarty in Teal Black. C/59, 59n in zebra.

Here are some pictures of "Barney". I bought him back in 2006? And sold him a couple of years later. Great player (loved that rolled binding), wonderful build, never quite got the tone I wanted out of it, despite a few pup changes (It came stock with Dimarzio Schenkers, but the ad copy says otherwise).

Yep, still my no.1, although there is the possibility of yet another pickup change. Tone-wise, she is outdone at the moment by my Parker. Still is my most comfortable guitar however, the one that when I pick up makes me feel the most at home.
