Anybody know what the impedance of the speakers in a Mesa Rectifier cab are?

I know my cab is stock, but it's been so long since I've had the back panel off, I don't remember what the impedance was on the speakers.

I want to say 8ohms because it's 8ohms mono, 4ohms stereo but I could be wrong.

I'd pull the panel, but I can't get to the back of the cab at the moment.

Easy to check w/ a simple multi-meter. DC resistance is the major component of impedance. So if you insert a speaker cable into a jack and measure tip to barrel on the other end, it will tell you: a) approx. 6 ohms +/- reading is 8 ohms impedance, b) 2.8 ohms +/- reading is 4 ohms impedance, c) 12 ohms +/- reading is 16 ohms impedance. It's a simple multiple choice question.

Pulled that heavy mother heffer out. For future reference, it's 8 ohms. I'll leave the thread in case someone gets overly ambitious and uses the search function.

Usually it is 8 ohms mono, 16 ohms stereo.
