Anybody tried the Mesa JP-2C?

Looks interesting. Basically a Mk IIC+ with double EQ. I never owned a Mesa Mk amp, no idea what to expect.

Price tag appropriate of course.

If I was in the market for that 2C+ tone, it would be this amp. I think it's the best iteration even with the reissue being released.... it offers the same and so much more.

I cannot stand Mesa's for their high gain tones. Not under my fingers. Too gritty, not enough saturation. Very 'dry' feel and sound. I can't understand how others make use of it. I love it for medium gain and clean tones, but I don't "live" there musically speaking.

i live in cleanish to medium gain tones. i only have one high gain amp and i swapped the preamp tubes down to 12au7s to lower the gain
