Anybody want to do a collaborative cover?

I'm pretty sure after my debate that will be a no... However I've never really heard anybody on here play so I figure a collab will be a nice way to settle things down after that thread about the 1984 Explorers and hear some of you guys play.

sure. i'll happily do rhythm or bass on something. and grudgingly do vocals, if you want something lemmyish.

I'd be happy to give something a go, if I can play the selection. I'll have to get my GT-6 out and see if it will hook to my new laptop and get my recording program loaded. Shouldn't take long, and I have nothing else to do.

I forgot about drums. I can play but my dad's kit is not set up and we don't have any recording stuff. We should come up with a list of songs. Because if it's left to me... (points to avatar) When we decide on a song, we can find a drum master or something that we could use.

I might be able to play or learn One. I'll have to look at some songs and come up with a short list.

I'd probably sing, as well. I don't have a special program, just audacity. I have lots of latency problems, so I could do lead but trying to put a rhythm over drums is hell when there's latency.

Id say the order in which we should record is this:
1) get a drum track from the internet
2) record either bass or rhythm
3) record whatever you didn't record in step 2
4) record lead (where applicable)
5) record vocals

I can't find a track that has JUST drums. I really want JOLLY or Bass Medic to play with us, because they're like two of the most recognizable people here...

Got one. Jeff, you should totally lay down your rhythm over this. Its from the Live at Donington CD. I always feel bad about downloading jam tracks. I feel like a thief.
