Anyone else use this diagram? HH, 1V, 1T, 5-way blade w/coil split

Re: Anyone else use this diagram? HH, 1V, 1T, 5-way blade w/coil split

That diagram looks like it should be:
1. Bridge (full),
2. Bridge (full) + Neck (full),
3. Neck (full),
4. Bridge (screw coil) + Neck (slug coil),
5. Bridge (screw coil).

That's not at all like you say it sounds. Check your wiring again. Make sure you know how the terminals of the switch are numbered...sounds like that's your problem.

I tried it again through another headphone amp today and it's how you describe. Thank you for the input.

You're welcome. Glad I could be of assistance.

However, if this scheme is not particularly what you really want and would like something different, just chime in again and we can help you with that too.

Re: Anyone else use this diagram? HH, 1V, 1T, 5-way blade w/coil split

Hello guys, this is my first interaction ever on a forum, so I apologise in advance. I am having a similar issue but I didn't want to start a new thread so I hope I'm not too off topic or if I'm not allowed to jump in on someone else's post. Please let me know if I need to git. Anyway, here is the short version of the past 3 weeks of trying to install new pups. I am installing s set up SD Invader humbuckers, 1 vol, 1 tone, .022 orange drop, 5 way Emerson bladed. I followed the schematic the previous gentleman was using as well, but the neck position is giving me just the bridge and every other position is a blend. I don't want to give up yet, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sorry Mikey i dont have time to look at the diagrams right now and help you out (if i get the chance later i will) but you might get better response by opening your own topic. Theres no rule against piggy backing but new topics get more attention. Good luck

I am not famiiar with the Emerson blade switch but if it is designed the same as the Fender 5-way then, no, you didn't follow schematic...there would be no way the neck position could give you just the bridge pup. It is possible that the Emerson has a different electrical arrangement designed in it than the Fender switch in the diagram. Get out your meter and check it.

Welcome to the forum!
I am sorry it isn't working. But to help, some clear pictures posted here help diagnose a problem like this, as well as a clear description of what the switch is doing now.
