Some of my guitars sound pukey,but it's prolly just my playing...

In this case it was Mary though. Edgecrusher was lighting it up when "look out, she's a squirter" was heard from a distance. It was too late though, the damage had been done.

You know I thought about that and there isn't anything at all on the strings. If it came from outside I don't know how it could have hit there without hitting the strings

Hmmm. About the mystery material the ejected itself out of your pickup....were you playing particularly well the night before. I mean really really impressive good more than your pickups are used to??

My only guess is a short in the pickup that heated up that pole piece (bad wire to pole to gnd) that caused the wax to boil

I don't see how it could be wax. The pickup would have to be over 140 degrees for an extended period of time. What the heck?!

If it isnt wax it would have to be a magical money shot of some sort.
Sadly today was crazier than hell and I didnt even get a chance to look at it and now im too tired to mess with it.
