Anyone ever herd of Celestion amps?

I saw an amp the other day and didn’t take note of anything particular cept it had a metal Celestion stamp on it. I thought it was just referring to the speaker till I got home and read it listed as… “CELESTION G12M stage speaker/amplifier unit (needs stand)”

I cant figure out wether they are just talking about the speaker being celestion, because they never mention the amp brand, or did they ever make amps? If so, any good?

I remember seeing Celestion PA cabinets around several years back.

Sound & build quality were mid-fi lo-fi.

Not terribly great but not sucky. Kinda like "good" PV or Yorkville.

Never seen or even heard of a Celestion guitar amp though.

Celestion are a good make of speaker and it figures that they make amps too, at least for other applications. I'm sure they wouldn't put out anything too pony! [Pony and trap = Crap]
