Anyone ever tried an Ibanez V7 pickup on the BRIDGE?

I just flipped the V8 and V7 on my RG. The V8 is poo (just as it was on bridge), but the V7 is quite decent on the bridge! Sounds kinda fat and chunky, and it has a mid-scooped tone that I like. Not too bad for stock Ibanez stuff.

Ever tried this? :smokin:

My RG550 got the old V1 and V2 and both suck compared to the JB I have got in the bridge now

They do suck, buddy. :laugh2:

I'm just trying to get the best from them before I buy some Duncans. :fingersx:

I think I do. Very nasal, honky tone. No low end, no highs, no clarity, no articulation, no nothing! Just mud. It's a horrid pickup. The V7 is much much better, and still it's far from top notch.
