Anyone familiar with Swiss made Relish guitar?

Re: Anyone familiar with Swiss made Relish guitar?

Resurrecting this old thread because I continue to love the Relish concept and wondering if anyone on the SD forum ever played or bought one?

I've followed them online for awhile, but I haven't seen one in person. If they were at NAMM, I missed them.

Played one, my friend's shop has one in stock .

Very modern feeling and sounding, quite an impressive guitar. Only played it briefly because it was not on my radar but it's pretty cool.

I don't really recall it being anything other than average weight wise but I'll go take another look at it this week. It was the beginning of the year when I played it, pretty sure it is still there.

I don't think I'm really in the market but I am incredibly curious.

Sometimes sustain is good and sometimes sustain is bad.

When I'm playing extended leads I love sustain but when I'm trying to do intricate rhythms sometimes it turns into mush.

Some of that can be controlled with electronics and some is intrinsic to the mass and makeup of the body.

If you get a chance to play it would you look into the sustain aspect.?. George Harrison's What is Life is a good example of the rhythm I am describing.

I'm not into the shape at all but as far as its engineering goes - WOW!

I'm definitely interested in one with better shape.

Sorry they sold it since last time I was there, went by today but it's gone

That's ok. It's not like I was going to drop 6 grand on a new guitar any time soon. ;)

But thanks for trying.
