Re: Anyone familiar with this Kramer?

I must say that it is interesting!

Re: Anyone familiar with this Kramer?

Yeah, apparently its not a true "acoustic" since you have to plug it in to get any sound. But it seems to be a poor-mans version of the Turner-Renaissance RS-6

(With apologies to Rick Turner for the comparison.) :blackeye:

Re: Anyone familiar with this Kramer?

That reminds me of Gibson's Chet Atkins SST, or the old Kramer Ferrington line. If you do a lot of live acoustic work at high volumes I suppose it would be handy, though upgrading th eelctronics would be tough, and I wonder what corners are being cut at $230...

Re: Anyone familiar with this Kramer?

That looks very promising. I've been looking for a cheap "acoustic" for recording and that might just fit my needs. Hmmm, do I want it in black or sunburst...

Funny you should mention that. The reason I found that guitar to begin with was that one of the guys at work was talking about an old Ferrington that he sold. We went to the MusicYo site to try to find a pic of one . . . and discovered that instead. :)

Re: Anyone familiar with this Kramer?

I dig the original Kramer ferrington Acoustic/electrics
