Anyone got experience with Jensen Mod 12 Speakers?

I have a line on 2 virtually brand new ones for $100. They are 70 watt 16 ohm speakers that i'm thinking of sticking in my oversize (18 inches deep) 2 X12 cab.

Eventually I'll stick Wizards in there but for now.......

any thoughts?

well-made speakers (pretty sure they're all manufactured in Italy now). tend to have a flatter EQ so they color your guitar and amp tone less than Greenbacks, V30s, G12H, and similar British style speakers. good low end that isn't flabby.

the Wizards will be louder, grittier, and stronger in the mids

I'd say go for it at that price
