Anyone have a PRS H combo or head?

I'm really interested in this amp, but all of the high gain tones just sound like ass to me. Too thin and nasally. I really like the clean tones and the medium gain tones I hear on all of the PRS videos, but just not digging the high gain tones.
I'm wondering what they really sound like and how they hold up to heavier music?
I know I could use a pedal, but that defeats the purpose of having a high gain amp.
