See this thread HERE for my reasoning.

They *need* to be double black and 2 conductor (straight out of a V or Explorer, or Les Paul Classics, etc-not aftermarket sold).

I will paypal you for shipping in the cont 48 states, and once my guitar is fixed/replaced, and returned to me, I will ship back either your originals or the new ones from the replacement guitar :bigthumb:

I should note they have to be in pretty good condition too-the more like new, the better.

Hey Jeff, I'd pm Jolly he has quite a few Gibson Classics... I'm sure they aren't all stock. also Lucid has that nice Amber classic too... worth a shot?

I still got those out the Explorer that Eric is selling now. I initially wanted to keep quiet because there is some risk involved, after all you send these suckers off to Gibson and god knows what they do with the guitar

So here's the deal:

• if they get lost I want the money they brought on ebay last time, which is what I'd have to pay. This seems to have been $58 + $10 shipping for the 500T and $41 + $10 for the 496R. I know you got less when you sold but that seems to be the replacement cost for me. Open to pointers to cheaper ones...
• meanwhile you loan me a set of pickups I don't have so that I can try them out (carefully)

Sorry, mines a Premium Standard and came with 57 Classics. Sold those long ago, but wish I had kept them. They wern't bad.

Maybe try Jerryjg. Seems like he might have some laying around.
