Anyone have experience with the new 5150 III 50watt combo?

This demo sounds pretty sweet!! :naughty: Been looking at the 5150 IIIs for a bud of mine cuz they sound great and have the headphone jack. (I need one for that reason) He's an AL Bundy like myself.. Plus they add verb on the combo.. Just not sure if it would be better getting the all in one or separate pieces.. Combo is what he is preferring, but I want to get some feedback about them.

Get the separate head and cabinet. I owned the Peavey 5150 combo and now own the EVH 5150 head and 2x12 set, and I prefer the current setup. The reverb with the combo isn't worth buying the combo. I bought a TC Hall of Fame reverb and it does everything I want in reverb and more without having the heavy combo set up. Plus, a separate head offers more options in the future.
