I actually used the Strat replacement Live Wires for years and did a bunch of recording with them but these are the only sound files I have on me. They do the '80s, clean, glassy (in a good way) thing very well and they are dead quiet, as in no hum and no hiss (which many active pickups suffer from to my ears) even when plugged into two Turbo Rats! I didn't use the humbuckers but I still dig these ones although they sond admittedly more high-tech and "active" than any true single-coil.
