i used to do it a fair amount but its just too much crap to carry to gigs. i still do it sometimes for trio gigs, mostly cause the rotosphere sounds so much better with two amps.

it does sound great on stage but most places i play the sound guy gives me funny looks when i say i want both amps mic'd so i kinda assume they dont actually bother to mix both amps. assuming the club is even wired in stereo

I do sometimes use my Korg SDD-3000 (same stereo device the Edge uses) and two amps (either two Deluxe Reverbs or two Princeton Reverb) at home. Sounds fantastic!

But I don't play blues through it or much of my regular repertoire and I don't gig with it anymore since I stopped doing church gigs.

Does get a fabulous U2 kind of guitar sound though.

I tend to do my new age (or is it old age?) sounding compositions that I write using various open tunings when I play in that style.
