Long time no see bro's!

You probably remember the threads I posted here every now and then about 1-2 years ago about the 1959ing of a Love Rock

The guitar is extensively modded and tweaked into a perfect guitar. But now due to moving to a smaller apartment in the other end of the country I'm maaaybe looking to unload this beauty.

SPECS:
Tokai Love Rock
Year: 2005
Made in: Japan
Model: LS-80
Pickups: Wolfetone Legend PAF replicas
Wiring: Fake58.co.uk wiring with real 1960 Black Beauty caps
Tailpiece: DMC aluminium tailpiece and studs
Trussrod cover: Gibson 50's style
Case: German-made Cali Girl style (brown with pink lining)

You can see LOTS of pics and the whole description of it here on the Thursday Burst site... that have had some several thousands of visitors over the last years: http://www.multi.fi/~nproject/thursday_burst/

As I mentioned above... I'm maaaybe selling it if I get the right price for it. So make your offers and it might be yours... If you're not interested in buying it you can always let me know what you thinks it's worth.

So this is maybe for sale and at the same time a "Put a value on the guitar" Thread ;)

And if the offer is right and I decide to sell it... yes, I can consider sending it insured anywhere in the world.

Alright, so now hit me with your thoughts/offers! ;)

Here's my thought: KEEP IT! It's such a gorgeous guitar, and you put a lot of time and effort updating it.

Ludvig, if you do sell it, are you planning on putting that money into another guitar?

Re: Anyone interested in the THURSDAY BURST (LS-80)?

Thanks Keith!

Yes, the perfect thing would be to keep it... but as I really don't have room for 4 guitars that I have now in our coming apartment (were relocating). I could of course just stash them up in the closet... but that would really be a shame so I think the guitar would then be better off to see the world ;)

I'm thinking about selling both this one and the Telecaster ('51 Caster) relic!! :11:

...and put the cash into one guitar instead (I won't tell what it is as I don't know if it will happen ;) )

Re: Anyone interested in the THURSDAY BURST (LS-80)?

Wow, man! Pretty ballsy of you to sell off the Thursday Burst and Tele. Still, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Best of luck to you, bro…and good luck with the move, as well.

Re: Anyone interested in the THURSDAY BURST (LS-80)?

What, praytell, are the other 2 guitars that you would be keeping over the Thursday Burst and the Nocaster?

zackly

man, could you imagine the good fortune of being a guy with some disposable cash just getting into decent gear? ... those two guitars, shipped to your door, would be an instant 'gig anywhere' reality

best of luck

Re: Anyone interested in the THURSDAY BURST (LS-80)?

THanks guys! Kinda cool to put something in the Trading Post and get to hear "noo, keep it yourself!" hehe :laugh2:

Anyway..yes t4d, it would be a great oppertunity for someone wanting to get two amazing guitars just like that. Even though I'm not ready to sell them for a bargain, if you're into relics and want something that is really unique this is a great oppertunity.

The guitars I'm going to keep is my beloved acoustic, a Martin DX1-R and my 1959 P-bass replica. As I love them both (not that I don't love the Thursday and the Nocaster) but I also need them to have a setup ready to record stuff, the three essentials are after all Electric, Acoustic & Bass...

So I'm looking at a new electric (and I think I know what it's going to be), in case I happen to get the cash I want from the Thursday and the Nocaster. We'll see...
