This one happens to be modded, looks cool, but I don't even know about where it started at (as an amp).

This is just curiosity, so I don't really need any suggestions about other amps I should look at, just want to know if they compare to the real deal.

Hmm.. that one is tempting. New cabinet. $250 easy. Newly reconed JBL D130F, $150-200. He must have upgraded both transformers to accomodate the 6L6 tubes. Minimum 150-200 bucks.

The guy has 100% feedback. That one would be tempting. Did it list shipping? That might be a gotcha where some guys really up their shipping. I re-read it. He's gouging people on shipping at 75 to 100 bucks. That's what you pay to have a place box it all up and what not.

For a true vintage amp, I'd consider the professioal packing thing. For a modded 80's Rivera, 35 bucks shipping max.

It's a calculate your own shipping, for me it came to about $40. I would love to crank that thing, but oh well...

If you've had enough work done to it and you're unloading it cheap, who cares if the shipping is $20 more than what it would be normally to have it packaged right? I think that's a few extra bucks most people wouldn't have a hard time shelling out to make sure it gets there safely.
