I am brand spankin' new to this forum. I am posting some of my tunes to get some feedback. If you have some time, I'd appreciate the listen!

I have a custom built MP3 player on my website. Check out the working analog clock, mixing board and light dimmer!

Mike Grande

Well, I hope you like it!
Thanks
Mike

welcome to the madness known as SDUGF, great stuff I can definately hear the satriani infuence in your music. I too enjoy writing satriani/vai type instrumentals, but they are nothing like you have on your web site.

Welcome to the forum. Quite the awesome licks and songs.

Re: Anyone like Satriani style instrumentals?

Thank you guys. I had no idea anyone was listening since I didn't get any emails regarding posts...sorry for the late response!

To answer some of your questions, I use a PRS Custom 22 Brazilian with a Soldano SLO-100 with all the mods. I just signed on to Warrior Guitars (Warriorinstruments.com) so I will be using their custom shop guitars from here on in. If anyone has a chance, check these guitars out. They all come with Seymour Duncan pickups, which they state, "makes their guitars sound the best!" Can't argue with that! I record using Sonar 5. My last few recording have been recorded with a Rhodes ribbon MIC. What a difference that makes. I am back in the studio next week to finish my last 2 songs. I should be coming out with an album in a few months. The album will be free. I will drop them off at the local Guitar Centers and Sam ASh stores to hand out to customers. This is somethin I just needed to do. If you would like a copy send me an email at info@sorstudios.com and it would be my pleasure to get one to you as soon as I am done with it.

I had the MP3 player built for me by my web developer. My recording studio (www.SORStudios.com) gives away free websites to post all the music recorded at our place.

thanks again for listening! I really appreciate it!

Welcome to the forum, Mike! Really, really dug your music, man. Very clean and articulate....great sustain. For sure, you have some nice influence from The Satch-Man, but I thought I might've heard a few other possible influences as well. Super recordings!
Cheers!!

Thanks Bob. I really dig Vai and Eric Johnson, so I guess you can hear them in there as well.
Thanks for listening!
