Anyone own a Tascam DP-01 recorder?

If so, I have a question or two about it. (No sense in typing it all out if no one can help me). After using a Fostex 4 track cassette recorder for years (which broke down on me) I'm very new to the whole digital recording thing. Having a hard time tyring to figure a thing or two out.

Also, there are tascam forums.....not sure what the address is though

I use a Tascam 788 and it's C recorder. Basically, it runs off of a SCCI connection.
