Well the title pretty much says it all. I will be in the market for a bass cabinet soon and these things just look sick.

The bassist in my band genuinely likes Mesas bass stuff (and that's quite a compliment considering he's a very discerning individual like me), but for cabinets, his favorite are Edens (he uses SWR amps I believe).

eden.....i'll have to look into that. no one around me has eden in stock but i am going to be in atlanta soon so i'll have to stop by a music store there. I ended up tryin a mesa powerhouse 4x10 at guitar center (with one of the mesa amps but i cant remember which one). the 4x10 was really punchy but i doubt it would handle the low B on my ibanez. the powerhouse 1000 has 4 10s surrounding a 15 so that is why it sparked my interest.

The "talk bass" forum might be the place to go if you want more bass amp/cab info that one could ever possibly even want to know (kind of like this place for pups). I've got a Mesa 4x10 and 1x15, and they sound great (mine are even the older ones that port in the back). I use an older SWR Bass 750 and it does all I could ever want. There are alot of options, but Mesa, Eden, and Ampeg seem to be the preferences these days for obtainable good cabs.

I orginally got the just the 4x10, but there wqas a slight volume drop on the low B so I grabbed the 1x15 also. No issue now, all is very even; deep and punchy with clarity.

I've actually found Aguilar heads/cabs to be my favorite when it comes to bass amps. Deeeeep, clean tone.
