Anyone rocking an Antiquity neck with Brobucker?

I have a Pearly Gates neck/Brobucker combo in my warmoth tele and they balance fairly well, but the PG gets a little woolly at times-it is a bridge model so that figures.

I've had an antiquity neck model lying around for years that I never installed-would this match well/ hopefully better than the PG bridge?

Thanks!

I don't think an Ant would give you less 'wooliness.' Doesn't cost you anything to try it, but I'd put in a different magnet first that'll give more clarity and output, like a fully-charged A2 or an UOA5.

if you have a bridge pg in there then a neck antiquity should clean up some of the wool. the ant neck is a very nice vintage sounding pup

Thats what I was thinking Jeremy. The PG Bridge model is probably a little too hot. Thanks for the input bluesman, but I wouldn't mod an antiquity-I'd buy a different pickup.

Well 6 months later and I finally got around to installing the Antiquity neck bucker (7.6) Matches very well in terms of output with the Brobucker bridge, despite the specs. Also sounds much better clean or slightly overdriven. Definitely a vintage sounding pickup that brings me closer to the holy grail Dicky Betts neck HB tone!
