UK magazine, Guitarist, recently included an audio demonstration on its cover disc. The amp did not sound bad but it is impossible to judge the dynamic response of an amplifier via a recording of somebody else's playing. IMO, dynamic response is where digital modelling amplifiers continue to let themselves down. (I am a Roland VG-99 user.)

I saw one at Elderly Instruments (Lansing, MI), but I did not get a chance to try it. I wanted to, but the store was closing. :(

I played the 50w combo in Japan and the 50w head here. It is a pretty good amp in my opinion. It sounds good and has a few different sounds. I played it loud enough to get a good recording at home, but no idea how it sounds in a mix. From what I heard though, it will do as well as any other Marshall. It sure beats trying to get a great sound without blowing your roof off trying to crank a plexi. The combo was nice and the 50w head sounded good through an H&K 4x12.

I heard a guy at Guitar Center get some decent tones out of one. I never played it, though, so it was just the same as a YouTube video, I guess.
