Jeff, you're killing me. I really like that color. I'll bet it looks great strapped on!
I hate those type of auctions where the starting price is hundreds less than BIN, because you never know whether to bid, or BIN to ensure it's yours.
I wonder if he's selling his 'PRS killer' to buy a PRS or Gibson? Ha ha

I played one of those a few months ago and thought it was a nice colour but the price that I would have had to pay for it here in the UK was almost double what you guys can get it for in the US.
They do play nice and have a lovely sleek (ebony) board and that finish is to die for - I like that colour!!

Heh....that's the latest Dean Girl from Summer NAMM. I don't rember her name, I just call her "Goddess". If you do a search in the off topic room about 30 days ago or so there is a thread I started on Dean Girls, with more pics of her. She is by far my favorite.
As for the necks on those Hardtails, they play like absolute butter. The necks are somewere in between say a 59' LP carve and the Slim 60's taper, but closer to the 60's....12 degree radius. The ebony is slick and sweet, and the frets edges are rolled and smooth, not a sharp spot anywhere. With the exception of my double fat strat neck (which I finished and sanded myself, and the JohnJohn is currently re-doing) the HT is my favorite neck....period.
